“The Complete Actor: with Randy Sly & Rhett Guter” Signature Artist Series
Master the tools of your craft and develop refined control of your physical, vocal, and emotional instruments. Join Randy Sly and Rhett Guter for an advanced acting class exploring sophisticated character development and performance techniques.
Students will develop advanced movement and voice techniques for resonance, projection, and variety. Through text analysis and Stanislavski-based work, young actors will explore emotional authenticity, psychological gesture, and monologue preparation.
A highlight of this course is studying Shakespeare's works through monologues and scenes, with the opportunity to compete in the High School Shakespeare Competition hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival (October 2-4).
Key Skills: Advanced movement & voice techniques • Text analysis & character work • Emotional authenticity • Monologue performance • Shakespeare study
Additional rehearsal times available for competition participants
Ages 11-18 | Advanced level
